Privacy Collection Notice – ACE Portal

The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) administers the Australian Classification Exchange (ACE) portal.

When this privacy notice applies

This privacy notice applies when you create an account on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent on the ACE portal, or when you submit a coding query or public submission via the ACE portal.

Information we collect

We collect the following information:

  • your name
  • the organisation you work for
  • your job type
  • your job title
  • your address
  • your phone number and email
  • information contained in your coding query or public submission.

Why we collect this information

We collect most of this information to create and administer your ACE user account and contact you as needed. When you submit a coding query or public submission, we collect this information so we can respond to your query or process your submission.

How we collect this information

We collect this information from you when you create an account on behalf of your organisation or yourself or make a coding query or public submission.

How we store your information

We store your personal information securely in the ACE online portal and/or on servers located in Australia.

Who will be able to see this information

Only you and IHACPA staff can see your personal information in the ACE portal. When you make a public submission, the title of your submission (but not your name) will be visible to other users in the ACE portal.
